Water Pollution Is Bad For The Environment - 1252 Words

Pollution, of any kind is bad for the environment, but water pollution is bad for the environment and affects people. Our water quality is affecting positano and it s people. The article â€Å"Whale Facts† state s â€Å" Water pollution has become a growing concern over the last century as more and more waste is being disposed of in our oceans, rivers and lakes.†(Whale Facts). Water pollution is taking over our oceans, rivers, and lakes which are our primary drinking source. All the water that we drink comes from these places and they are getting contaminated raising concern. The article â€Å"Whale Facts† also says â€Å"Water pollution is caused by the intentional or unintentional release of toxic chemicals/materials, contaminants and harmful compounds†¦show more content†¦. The quote means If we dispose of the chemicals that affect water than the condition of our water will get better because the things that are hurting it are going away. The artic le â€Å"water pollution solutions† says â€Å"Second, by implementing renewable energy sources to run these large operations companies can obtain their energy from eco-friendly sources that do not harm or pollute the atmosphere.†(Water Pollution Solutions). Large companies can have chemical spills and these can affect the water and the animals and plants that live in it. The article â€Å"water pollution solutions† says â€Å"Third, eco-friendly chemicals should be used to replace toxic cleaning chemicals, sprays and other supplies. These chemicals are extremely helpful as they do not contaminate the water they come into contact with so if they go down a drain pipe or sewage drain there is little or at least less negative consequence†(Water Pollution Solutions). . This quote is saying that if we get rid or dispose of these chemicals properly we will have cleaner water just because we are eliminating the thing that affects the water the most.
